- What does dam construction as a contract service mean?
- We come to your farm with our machine and our know-how and form the dams for you. You do not need machine capital of your own, and the work can be planned flexibly – also for single seasons.
- Which dam variants are possible as a contract service?
- All of them: topsoil dam, substrate dam and substrate dam XL for blueberries and raspberries.
- How must the soil be prepared before the dams are formed?
- The soil must be loosened and mixed well to a depth of at least 25 cm – ideally first ploughed, then cultivated with a wing-share cultivator. It must be free of stones and coarse plant residues such as asparagus roots or maize stalks. The dams can be formed well before the planting date.
- How high must the polytunnel be for the tractor?
- Where the tractor drives, the tunnel must be at least 3 m high.
- When is buying a dam machine worthwhile?
- For farms that want to use the dam system permanently and independently: you are independent when it comes to scheduling, it is economical in the long term for larger growing areas, and we take care of personal instruction and support.
